CLASSIC SCIENCE FICTION FILM DOCUMENTARY - BEHIND THE SCENES Deep from Daniel R. Christopher Productions Archives come never before seen 'behind the scenes' footage from the 'Saga of a Crew' Feature Film. Like the full feature, this 1980's footage was remastered using a 'real-time' transfer method - that is, the original Film is projected onto a screen and recorded with a camcorder. Admittedly this IS NOT the best method. Whereas the original Film print, and surplus footage is almost 40 years old with pre-existing wear and tear and deterioration we realize that the clarity is further diminished by this 'real-time' transfer method. Also featured are behind the scenes materials from the projects secondary Postproduction Period (2004 - 2008) during which time additional scenes and the DVDs were produced. It is our sincerest hope to produce a 40th Anniversary Ultimate Restored Edition by 2024 using the latest high-definition frame by frame digital scanning and restoration technology. Until then this new Documentary dispels the myths and provides new insight about one of the most unusual Science Fiction Feature Films of the 1980's.
