A struggling writer of science fiction novels is staying in a budget resort at Mandarmani, a beach town in West Bengal. He works in a genre that is not so popular among readers and his publisher hurries him to submit his draft. He is torn between his ambition and the futility of the situation. It is during this time that he has a chance encounter with a strange man, someone who can hold his sway over nature. His sudden disappearance leaving behind his footprints on the beach, boggles him to the extent that he becomes obsessed with him. What unfolds is a series of bizarre phenomenon and the ultimate disclosure of who this man is and why is he here.
